The Youth Team travel to Carrington to take on fellow Greater Manchester side Stockport County in our fourth game of the season on Saturday.
The sides met on Tuesday in the EFL Youth Alliance Cup where Dale overcame the Hatters in a second-half turnaround, winning 5-1.
Goals from Paddy Watts, Paul Kyffin, under-16 Academy player Joel Street and John Dunlop helped Dale progress to the next round in a superb performance at Stalybridge Celtic’s Bower Fold.
Dale are looking to bounce back in the league after two narrow defeats at the hands of Morecambe and Accrington Stanley to open the campaign.
Opponents County will be looking to get to winning ways as well after a heavy defeat to Preston North End and a 1-1 draw with Accrington Stanley.
