Canadian coffee chain Tim Hortons is planning to open another of its popular drive-thrus in Greater Manchester.
A planning application has now been submitted to the Stockport Council to open a new branch of the fast food business.
If approved, the company would take over a vacant unit in the Peel Center, where it can serve its signature menu of coffee, donuts, burgers and breakfast rolls.
Tim Hortons was founded in Hamilton, Canada in 1964 and is particularly popular for its timbits, bite-sized donuts that come in a variety of flavors.

The planned location used to have a Frankie & Benny’s, which was closed last year as part of the Restaurant Group’s CVA, which permanently closed 125 restaurants.
The plans include installing a thoroughfare to the site, which neighbors will include Nando’s and Pizza Hut.

There are already three Tim Hortons offices in Greater Manchester, Salford, Altrincham and Oxford Road.
The company opened its first UK location on Bury New Road in 2017. Customers were already lining up at 2 a.m. to take advantage of the free food on offer that day.
Rapid and ambitious expansion across the UK is planned to create 20,000 new jobs by 2022.
Tim Hortons said he couldn’t comment on the plan.
Plans were also announced to open the first Yorkshire drive-through restaurant in a new location in Sheffield’s Crystal Peaks Village Retail Park.
