Stockport Homes selects Civica’s digital home software

Stockport Homes has signed a new five-year £ 1.2m deal with Civica, a world leader in public service software. Civica will deploy its cloud software Cx Housing, Asset Management, Contractor Workforce and Abritas to optimize the customer experience, improve automation and mobile services across the company.

Stockport Homes was founded in 2005 to manage the housing stock on behalf of the Stockport Council. The organization manages 12,000 properties, including social and affordable rental, owner-occupied and leasehold properties, and employs approximately 600 people.

The Cx Housing platform will support Stockport’s ambitious vision to consolidate all online processes and move to a more customer-centric model. It will enable a unified view of people, property and assets data on a mobile system and support Stockport’s plans to expand its commercial line of business alongside the public housing portfolio.

With the aim of moving 70% of transactions online by the end of 2023, Cx will simplify all customer transactions through a configurable online customer portal, through which users can always access help and needed information, including applying for housing, applying for real estate , Log repairs or make rental inquiries.

Cx gives employees easy access as all customer information is available in one place and not in multiple applications. Improved workflows and automation, as well as integration with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint, improve communication across the company and enable users to be more proactive with customers. Employees can also access the system anytime and anywhere, thus supporting Stockport’s increasingly flexible and mobile employees.

John Chambers, Group Leader IT at Stockport Homes, said: We are passionate about engaging our customers and providing comfortable and affordable homes. Civica’s Cx Housing platform will improve our customer journey and simplify processes for our employees. The system is flexible to support our growing business goals and as we grow as an organization we look forward to partnering our future housing services. “

Michelle Tyler, General Manager of Social Housing at Civica added, Our digital housing platform is focused on the customer experience and will connect all of Stockport’s customer and property data to create a single view and meet the diverse needs of customers. We are excited to partner with Stockport on this major digitization program to enable powerful, efficient and streamlined business processes and support ambitious growth plans for the future. “

This latest contract follows recent client wins including the London Borough of Redbridge, Harrow Council, One Housing and Places for People. Across the UK, Civica works with 400 UK social housing organizations serving more than 5.3 million customers. Tenants access 500,000 cloud-based services.
