STEPPING HILL: Ben Hinchliffe shares the champion’s cup with young Archie
A young boy who missed out on his chance of being a match-day mascot for Stockport County as he had stayed at Stepping Hill Hospital got a special visit to help make up for it.
Treehouse children’s unit ward staff arranged for young County superfan Archie Middlemas to receive a surprise visit from his goalkeeping hero Ben Hinchliffe.
Ben also brought along the club’s National League Trophy for last season’s victory for Archie to hold, making the visit even more memorable.
Stepping Hill Hospital is located in Stockport, Greater Manchester.
