AFC Fylde players are challenged to show a meaner streak
The clubs have signed a full season contract, although the National League Stockport can call the 23-year-old back in January.
The 23-year-old center-back on the left is Fylde boss Jim Bentley’s fifth signing this summer.

Jamie Stott joins Fylde in pursuit of his second promotion from the National League North
Stott is a product of Oldham Athletic’s youth system, where he gained EFL experience in first and second division Player of the Year Award.
Last summer, Stott returned to Edgeley Park on a two-year deal and played 13 times for the Hatters in the National League and FA Cup last season.
His loan moves during his time on Oldham’s books include three stints at Stockport, two at Curzon Ashton and one at Fylde in 2017.
Manager Bentley told the club website, “We are very excited to have Jamie in the building. He’s someone who’s been on our radar for a while, and we believe his qualities suit the way we play.
“He’s had a title winning season at this level with Stockport, so he knows very well what it takes to get out of this division. These are the types of characters that we want in this football club.
“Not only that, he’s a left-footed central defender who is hard to come by at this level.
“He’s a good character and professional and already knows the club from his previous loan.
“And although he was interested in National League clubs, we are delighted that he has decided to play for us.”
“I want to thank Stockport County for joining us, and I have no doubt that he will be a success during his time here.”
Stott said: “When I heard about Fylde and the gaffer, I wanted to join in and show what I can do.
“The last time I played in this league I was promoted and the goal is to do it again.”
