A bus company helps die-hard charities and community groups in Greater Manchester by helping them £ 25,000 free advertising in his buses.
The Christie’s charity, in Withington, Greater Manchester and Pure innovations, Stockport Volleyball Club and NK Theater Art, in Stockport everyone is promoted on Nice view Manchester School buses. The advertisements run for at least a year.
Phil Hitchen, director of Belle Vue in Stockport, said the company’s gesture is aimed at raising funds and raising awareness in times of urgent need.

He said: “All charities are struggling during the pandemic and some may stop working if people don’t donate for them. Businesses have a responsibility to support good causes in their local communities.
“The ones we have chosen to help everyone do a great job and we are excited to promote them. Hopefully the ads will generate revenue and raise awareness of their work. “
Belle Vue is wearing two million passengers a year on his fleet of 60 school buses and 20 trainers. It is the largest provider of educational transportation in Greater Manchester.
One of the ads is for The touching life of the Christie Charity Campaign. The Christie Charity supports the work of the Christie NHS Foundation Trust by providing funding for cancer care and treatment, research, education, and additional patient services.

Phil’s life was saved by successful cancer treatment at The Christie in 2011.
Steph Bryant, Corporate Fundraising Coordinator at The Christie Charity, said: “We are delighted that Belle Vue Manchester is showing its support for The Christie Charity.
“Cancer doesn’t stop because of a pandemic, and our fundraiser hasn’t stopped. This has been an incredibly difficult time for all of us, but thanks to the support of local businesses like Belle Vue, we can reach a wider audience and further raise awareness of what The Christie does. “
Pure innovations is a charity that supports people with disabilities, health problems and people who live isolated and cut off from their communities. Services offered include cafes in Stockport and Oldham, Greater Manchester.
Dave Ferrier, Director of Operations, said, “We appreciate the significant role Phil and the Belle Vue team play in supporting our work by promoting the side of the bus. This allows us to get the message across in Greater Manchester through pure innovation. “

NK Theater Art is a charity that regularly offers workshops in Music theater, Dance and theater, and has a 370-seat auditorium in Stockport – the Forum Romiley Theater – which in normal times is used by many community organizations.
Darren Stannage, Managing Director of NK Theater Arts said:
“We are very pleased about this support from Belle Vue Manchester. This is an excellent way to promote the activities we offer the community and will really help raise our profile even further.
“We can’t wait for the Stockport folks to return to theaters safely and this gives us a wonderful opportunity to promote certain shows and events that we produce, be it a premiere of a show or even a visit to Sir Ian McKellen.
“We love to prove that you don’t have to leave town to see great live theater, and Belle Vue helps spread the word.”
The Belle Vue Bus donated free advertising space to support Stockport Volleyball
Stockport volleyball club is a non-profit organization whose members live across the Northwest.
Director Adrian Stores said, “It’s an incredibly supportive gesture from Belle Vue. We’re one of the fastest growing clubs in the Northwest with players of all abilities and ages, from beginners to National Volleyball League athletes. We hope that through this increased advertising measure, more people will be interested in joining. “
Phil said:
“Our school buses are mostly light yellow, so it’s very visible and noticeable. So it is gratifying to help this quartet of truly worthwhile causes get more exposure in Greater Manchester.”
He is in talks with Seashell Trust based in Stockport to promote it in a Belle Vue bus.
The charity supports children and young people complex learning difficulties, Disabilities and additional communication needs from across the UK.
